Good workout tonight. I haven’t tried a pull this heavy since I set my last 1rm PR months ago. It was a grinder, but I was pleased with it. Since my last 1rm PR my stance has gotten wider (toes at the plates now on the texas dl bar) and I am not sure how it got this wide. I moved my stance in a few inches back to what I normally used to use after the 675 and things felt much better. I wish I would have done that before the 675 pull, oh well. I think this will save some wear and tear on my hips, too. I am very pleased with the 3×5 PR. Afterwards, assistance work was very tough as my glute started cramping up pretty fierce.
