Goals

I recently discussed some high level goals for myself in 2009. I think its useful to have something to actualize your training — specifically, a reason to train.

I’d like to hit the following totals:

400lb bench press - flat bench press 380lb x 1 on 2/11/09 & incline press 300lb x 3 on 2/7/09

500lb ATG squat - 405lb on 2/9/09.

600lb deadlift - 485lb on 1/30/09

it’s mid march 2009 and i’ve decided that i need improve my GPP and i want to drop some bodyfat. i’ve started the ‘anabolic diet’ and i’d like to get to 15% bodyfat, i’m guessing that i’m around 20% at the moment but i’ll get an exact % soon. i’d like to hit this by June 1st.

I would like to then compete in a local powerlifting competition at some point this summer. I’ve never done a competition but think it follows with my creedo of actualizing my training.
