I don’t know how far it was, but I ran for 20:20 around the neighborhood. The weather is perfect, and my run felt really good. So nice to breath again! I then did 5 minutes and some change with my new jump rope, and did one set of push ups for good measure. =)

I got a chance to workout, and I felt good enough to actually do it.

I started light.
3 rounds, no breaks…
25 dumbbell swings w/ 45 lbs
25 push ups
10 toe touches (abs)
10 regular sit ups
20 (four count) flutter kicks

Ugh,

Haven’t worked out since Tuesday? This congestion in my chest has been killer. I intend to start up on Monday again, and try to get back in the swing of things. Work is making things difficult too.

Again today, I’m just not up to it. Go away sickness!

Stretched
Jogged for 2 miles and some change on the treadmill
About 15 chin ups
20 Slow Push ups
30 Decline Sit ups

I’ve been sick for the past 3 days or so. I think I’m starting to get over it now. Hopefully I’ll be able to give more effort during tomorrow’s workout.

Clean & Jerk 15-12- and 9 repsTouch and go at floor only. Even a re-grip off the floor is a foul. No dumping. Use same load for each set. Rest as needed between sets.

We used 95 lbs. That’s roughly 1/2 my body weight. My partner struggled a bit more than I did, but still managed to complete all 3 sets. I think I’ll try 35 lbs on each side next time. I think I had a little left in me.

Wow, stick a fork in me…I’m done.

50 Box jumps (we jumped onto a stage about 30 inches high)
50 Wall ball (Throw a 14 lbs medicine ball aprox 12 up, squat when you catch it)
50 Chin-ups
50 Back Extensions
50 K to Es (Hang like a chi-up, and bring your knees to your elbows)
50 Burpies (Stand, get down, do a push-up, get up, jump up high, repeat)
50 Double-unders with the jump rope. (We did 100 singles)
50 Push presses (Standing military press with 45 lbs bar)
50 Lunges with 35 lbs dumbbell held overhead. (25 on each leg)
50 Dumbbell swings with 45 lbs dumbbell.

Five rounds for time of:
30 Glute-ham sit-ups
25 Back extensions

18 minutes flat. I think I’ll be feeling this one for a while.

Four rounds, each for time of:
800 meter run
Rest as needed between efforts.

Total time of 13:20. My best (and first) 800 meters was 2:57. Plenty of room for improvement.

Three rounds, 21-15- and 9 reps, for time of: 18:50
100 pound Thrusters
Pull-ups

Cool down was a 15 minute run.
